Hi Steve, The Fastback ss357 was my first bicycle, bought for me by my dad as a very special gift on my 9th birthday, 1969. We walked over to Easton’s in Montreal on his lunch hour. It was a delightful treat to be with him. He was always so busy working. Yet he knew how much I was aching for this bike. First time I had ever asked him to get me something. He didn’t have a lot of money, raising a large family, working, and studying, but he adored me and wanted to give me this very special present. And going together to buy this beauty. One of the best memories I have in my life, that day, being with my dad, just us two, sharing that experience, seeing his joy at seeing my joy. Greatest dad God could have gifted me! Thank you for posting this. Brought back cherished times with my now late dad.
